National Model Worker, Chinese Model Charitable Behavior, and Founder of the Canyouhip Cause, Mr. Zheng Weining, visited Jinan University. University College of Education and Psychological Science to guide the work and hold lectures

In order to further promote the construction of special education disciplines in the College of Education and Psychological Science, and to promote the development of education and teaching work in the College, Mr. Zheng Weining, a national model worker, a model of charitable behavior in China, and the founder of the cause of handicapped friends, was invited to visit Jinan University in the morning of April 18, where he was received by Li Guanghong, the vice president of the University, and Cheng Xin, the secretary of the Party committee of Jinan University, gave a speech for Zheng Weining. Cheng Xin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan University, presented Mr. Zheng Weining with the certificate of Distinguished Professor. Afterwards, accompanied by Vice President Li Guanghong, Mr. Zheng Weining and his party went to the College of Education and Psychological Science and the College of Special Education for inspection and discussion, and held a symposium.

The symposium was hosted by Wang Xipu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Education and Psychological Science. Li Guanghong, vice president of Jinan University, introduced Mr. Zheng Weining's deeds and welcomed Mr. Zheng Weining's visit. Yang Zhaoning, Dean of the College of Education and Psychological Science, introduced the development of the college in six aspects, including the introduction of the college, the construction of academic disciplines and specialties, the faculty, the training of students, the social services and the vision of the college's development. Zhang Ting, Dean of the Department of Special Education of the College of Education and Psychological Sciences, introduced the development of the special education profession from four aspects: background of special education professional development, current situation of special education professional development, outlook of special education professional development and problems of special education professional development. Mr. Zheng Weining and his delegation, accompanied by school and college leaders, came to the Special Education Laboratory in the Special Education Building for inspection and close communication with the teachers in charge of the Special Education Laboratory. Finally, Mr. Zheng Weining put forward guiding opinions on the laboratory construction and the development of the special education profession. He affirmed the development of the special education profession in the College of Education and Psychological Science of Jinan University, and suggested that the special education profession has a long way to go, and that the cause of special education is glorious and a cause toward the light, and indicated that he would strongly support the development of the special education profession.

Finally, Secretary Wang Xipu made a concluding speech of the symposium and once again expressed his gratitude to Mr. Zheng Weining and his party for their visit.

In the afternoon of 18th, Mr. Zheng Weining's presentation was held in the auditorium, which was presided over by Du Bin, member of the standing committee of the Party committee and vice president of Jinan University, Mr. Cheng Xin, secretary of the Party committee of Jinan University, Mr. Zhang Shuociu, member of the standing committee of the Party committee of Jinan University and vice president of Jinan University, Mr. Liu Zongming, vice president of Jinan University, Mr. Li Guanghong, deputy vice president of Jinan University, and more than 1,000 representatives of the faculty and students from School of Educational and Psychological Sciences, School of Political Science and Law participated in this presentation. At the beginning of the presentation, a video clip of Mr. Zheng Weining was played. Mr. Zheng Weining talked about his own experience, the founding of Handicapped Friends, and the development of Handicapped Friends, etc. He proposed that to be a handicapped friend is to let the disabled live in a different way, and that the platform of Handicapped Friends can help more Canyou to overcome their own shortcomings and change their destiny. As a modernized group of high-tech social enterprises, Canyou Group is now known as a model of entrepreneurship-led employment. Afterwards, Zheng Weining told us that people with disabilities can have the same learning ability as normal people through his own experience and the deeds of the founders of Handicapped Friends. He hoped that we would try to improve ourselves, cherish the learning opportunities and work hard, and encouraged us not to give up our dreams in the difficult environment, and that there would be rewards for our cultivation.

At the end of the presentation, Mr. Zheng Weining interacted with the students, listened attentively and answered their questions with his own personal experience.

Mr. Zheng Weining's visit to Jinan University for guidance has an important impact on the construction of disciplines in the College of Education and Psychological Science and the development of the special education profession, etc. The Internet ＋ entrepreneurship he mentioned provides effective reference for our college students to actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship. The students were deeply shocked and said that they would study hard and aspire to be successful.
