On the afternoon of June 2, the Fifth Session of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) successfully concluded its agenda. The meeting elected a new leadership of the CPPCC. Daylight was elected Chairman of the Fifth Committee of the CPPCC, Huang Zhiguang, Deng Qilian, Zhong Xiaoyu, Huang Zhongwei, Zhang Xiaomin, Chen Siping, Yao Xinyao, Lin Jie was elected Vice-Chairman, the General Assembly also elected Cheng Kewei as the Secretary General of the Fifth Committee of the CPPCC, and elected the Fifth Committee of the CPPCC Standing Committee of the CPPCC a total of 87 members, which is the chairman of the Shenzhen Cheng Weining Foundation, the Chairman of the Canyou Group, Mr. Cheng Weining is listed among them.

Municipal leaders Wang Rong, Liu Yupu, Xu Qin and Wang Suiming were invited to attend the closing meeting and took their seats on the podium. The General Assembly informed the five session of the first meeting of the collection of proposals, through the resolution on the report on the work of the four Standing Committee, through the five session of the first meeting of the political resolution.

At the closing conference, on behalf of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Wang Rong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Acting Mayor of the CPC, expressed warm congratulations to the successful outcome of the conference and to the elected leadership of the new CPPCC, and also expressed his heartfelt thanks and high respect to all the members of the four CPPCC municipal councils, including the outgoing CPPCC leaders and members.
