From June 13th to June 18th, 2010, at the sincere invitation of Begonia Literary and Educational Foundation, a group of 6 people, including Mr. Zheng Weining, Chairman of Shenzhen Zheng Weining Charity Foundation, and Mr. Liu Haijun, Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Zheng Weining Charity Foundation, went to the National Taiwan University, to participate in the 2010 International Symposium on Social Enterprises in East Asia, as well as the exchange event The six of them went to National Taiwan University to participate in the 2010 East Asia International Symposium on Social Enterprise, and the exchange event "Night of Social Enterprise", and visited the social enterprises in Taiwan.
Social Enterprises in Taiwan This seminar invited Mr. Defourny, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EMES (European Research Networks), one of the most influential research organizations in Europe, and Professor and Director of Universite de Liege, Belgium, to give a speech on the topic of social enterprises in Taiwan. Mr. Defourny, Chairman of the Board of EMES (European Research Networks) and Professor and Director of the Research Center Universite de Liege, Belgium, gave a lecture on the topic of "The Emergence of Global Social Enterprises: A Comparative Analysis of Europe, the United States and East Asia". A total of 16 papers were presented by 20 scholars from six regions in Europe and East Asia, as well as case studies from five different types of social enterprise organizations in Taiwan.Social enterprises in China and Taiwan Meanwhile, Director Cheng Weining and his team also experienced and researched the high level of barrier-free travel for people with disabilities in Taiwan, and had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Peng Huanneng and Mr. Liu Jianzhi, the principals of Taiwan Well-being Technology Co.
