Disabled Friends High-tech Employment Public Welfare Training Project
Time:2019-01-09
Project Overview
The Disabled Friends High-Tech Employment Public Welfare Training Program aims to help disabled university students facing employment difficulties acquire cutting-edge technologies through a 6-month training program. Participants will learn software development, BIM (Building Information Modeling), life sciences and other state-supported high-tech fields. Those who pass the program assessment will be recommended for positions in high-tech enterprises, becoming members of the high-tech employment elite. During the training period, each participant will receive a living allowance of 2000 RMB/month and barrier-free support services worth 6000 RMB, including accessible dining facilities, apartment-style dormitories, transportation assistance, and learning environments.
Based on the core values of "Strength Perspective" and "Helping People to Help Themselves", the program revolutionizes traditional charity models by leveraging the advantages of disadvantaged groups - particularly disabled university students who possess educational foundations and stable characteristics. Through computers and internet+ technologies, the program provides enterprises with quality human resources, enabling precise high-tech employment for disabled graduates to achieve the social vision of "Employing one person, bringing happiness to a family, and stabilizing a community".
Project Background
1. Employment Challenges for Disabled Graduates: Employment discrimination: Rejected during interviews due to disabilities amid imperfect social support systems; Lack of accessibility: Hesitation to pursue opportunities in first-tier cities due to inadequate barrier-free infrastructure; Competitiveness gap: Excellent academic performers losing quality offers due to insufficient internship experience.
2. Original Intent: Through disability employment assistance work, we observed severe employment difficulties among many outstanding disabled graduates caused by social barriers. The program was designed to provide comprehensive employment support services, helping disabled students integrate into mainstream society, benefit from high-tech dividends, and achieve high-value employment to enhance family wellbeing.
3. Amid digital transformation and biotech development waves, Disabled Friends Group faces both opportunities and challenges, with talent cultivation being particularly crucial for future development.
