Microsoft empowers software engineers with disabilities to jointly build China's first "AI and Big Data Analytics" disability technology team

On December 13th, it was a cold winter day, but Shenzhen in the south of the country was still in a springtime, in this warm and genial day, the headquarters of Zheng Weining Charitable Foundation in Sharing Building, Nanshan District, Shenzhen ushered in a few special guests - Microsoft Empowering Canyou Group led by Dr. Mingqiang Xu, Mr. Sheng Jiang, and Ms. Xiaohua Zhou. Their arrival, like the warmth of this winter day, brings energy to the path of empowerment and innovation for people with disabilities.
Mr. Weining Zheng, the founder of the Canyou Group and Chairman of the Zheng Weining Charitable Foundation, greeted the Microsoft Canyou Group at the entrance and personally introduced to them the establishment, development and future outlook of the Canyou Group. Mr. Zheng also demonstrated the biotechnology digital platform, which was praised by President Xi at the National 13th Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition, and showed a special promotional video shot by Xinhua News Agency for Handicapped Friends during the National Day. The Microsoft Empowerment Team marveled at the amazing development of Canyou and lamented the innovative achievements of people with disabilities in the field of digitization.At the end of the tour, everyone went to the conference room where the Cheng Weining Charity Foundation had prepared a "surprise" for the guests. We presented each member of the empowerment team with an expert volunteer appointment letter, a volunteer card, an expert crystal plaque and a banner to express our gratitude. Ms. Zhou Xiaohua said that this makes their empowerment no longer a simple business activity, but a co-creative symbiosis with social responsibility and charitable connotation.
Afterwards, Dr. Mingqiang Xu first spoke on behalf of Microsoft. He expressed his understanding of digitalization through the technical aspects, and cleverly summarized the shortcomings of data in low quality and without connecting the various links with the word "free and loose". It is hoped that through this empowerment activity, the disabled engineers of Canyou will be able to establish a set of high-quality, high-flow data collection and presentation system.
Next, Mr. Jiang Sheng from the empowerment team expressed his expectation of this empowerment from the perspective of win-win cooperation. He believes that this empowerment is a good opportunity for deep cooperation between the Canyou and Microsoft's business, and hopes that the Canyou can enter the Microsoft partner (partner) system, and work with Microsoft to develop and grow together.
Finally, Ms. Zhou concluded that she deeply hopes that the cooperation between Canyou and Microsoft is a sustainable model, and that Microsoft will continue to help Canyou grow as it has in the past, focusing on the effects and issues of each empowerment, and providing practical help for people with disabilities to learn and develop in the field of AI and deep learning.The mentor team of Microsoft Empowering People with Disabilities is composed of four senior mentors led by Dr. Mingqiang Xu, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Microsoft's Omni-Channel Business Unit. In the future, this technology will be applied to the further exploration of Canyou in the field of AI, big data and biotechnology, which will also lay a solid foundation for the two sides to work better together and build a solid foundation for peers to walk together.
