Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, December 3, which is a day of special significance for our Foundation.  

In 1992, the 47th session of the United Nations General Assembly held its first special session on persons with disabilities since its inception, and adopted a resolution to designate December 3 of each year as the International Day of Canyous. Currently, more than one billion people around the world have varying degrees of disabilities, and people with disabilities are more vulnerable to discrimination and prejudice. They face many barriers and often have difficulty in enjoying the education, security, employment and other basic social services that ordinary people enjoy. According to the Report on the Development of Canyous in China, the total number of persons with various types of disabilities in China is 85 million. China's total population is 1.4 billion, and people with disabilities account for about 6.10%. The total number of people in the world is about 7.5 billion, and the total number of people with various types of disabilities reaches 1 billion, accounting for about 13% of the global total. The percentage of Canyou in China is not high because there is no war in China, but China has the highest number of Canyou in the world. Today December 3, 2021 is the International Day of Canyous (World Day of Persons with Disabilities), and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a holiday for persons with disabilities around the world.

In this special festival, a donation ceremony was held at the headquarters of Zheng Weining Charitable Foundation in Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, which was a donation ceremony to light up the International Day of Canyous.
