Project Description
The "Canyou Social Enterprise Incubation" project is a project that was launched immediately after the establishment of the Zheng Weining Charitable Foundation and has been supported by the Foundation. The project aims to extend the successful model of the Ten-Year Canyou Group to the whole country, open local Canyou in the country, and solve the problem of employment of Canyou in different places. Since the implementation of the project, 25 social enterprises have been opened in Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, solving the high-tech employment of 1,162 Canyou. The main idea of the project is to use the business model to solve social problems, make full use of the advantages of people with disabilities, and realize the goal of social enterprise profitability while helping them to get employed.
Award
China Social Innovation Award On December 27, 2010, the first "China Social Innovation Award", jointly initiated by the Center for Comparative Politics and Economics of the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau (CCTB), the Center for the Study of Governmental Innovation of Peking University (CSGI), and the Huaxia Center for Economic and Social Development of Beijing, was held in Beijing. On December 27, 2010, the first "China Social Innovation Award" jointly sponsored by the Center for Comparative Politics and Economics of the Central Compilation Bureau, the Center for Chinese Government Innovation of Peking University, and the Huaxia Center for Economic and Social Development of Beijing was held in Beijing, and the "Social Enterprise Incubation for Canyou" won the China Social Innovation Award.
China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Award
On November 16, 2010, the 2nd China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Award Ceremony was held in Shenzhen under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and co-sponsored by the China Association of Technological Entrepreneurship and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and the "Canyou Social Enterprise Incubation" was selected as the winner among 1080 projects from all over the country. On December 13, 2010, the first "China Poverty Alleviation Innovation Award" ceremony sponsored by the China Association for the Promotion of Social Organizations (CAPSO) and the China Merchants Charity Foundation (CMCF) was held in Beijing, with 5 design awards and 10 action awards presented. Top 10 Creative Public Service Projects in Shenzhen
On November 7, 2010, the second "Public Welfare Project Competition" organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs and the Shenzhen Radio, Film and Television Group, the Social Enterprise Incubation for the Canyou was awarded the "Top Ten Creative Public Welfare Projects" and received a funding award of 50 percent. (Will be in March 2011 to receive the award) Social Entrepreneurship Skills Program Awards 2010-2011 On January 24, 2011, the award ceremony for the "Social Entrepreneurship Skills Project" was held in Beijing, co-organized by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy, Youcheng Entrepreneurs Poverty Alleviation Foundation (YEPAF), Nandu Charity Foundation and Shanghai Zengai Foundation. The project "Social Enterprise Incubation for Canyou" implemented by Zheng Weining Charity Foundation won the "Yusei New Public Welfare Development Award".
