Shenzhen Canyou honored as "the most caring charity model".

On the evening of April 10th, the 7th "China Charity Award", the highest governmental charity award issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MOCA), held its awarding ceremony. Liu Yong, Vice Chairman of Canyou Group, a well-known high-tech social enterprise and an outstanding Canyou, was awarded the "Most Caring Charity Model", the only award in Shenzhen, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the cause of the disabled and national unity. Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Vice Premier of the State Council, received the commendation in Zhongnanhai and spoke highly of his quiet dedication on the front line and his spreading of love to all corners of the world. Liu Yong, who suffered a spinal fracture at an early age and relied on steel bars to support his weak body, is one of the founders of China Canyous' Service Network, Shenzhen Canyou Group Company Limited, Kashgar Canyou Science and Technology Company Limited, and a pioneer of Canyous' cause.
In May 2011, Canyou Group responded to Shenzhen's call for soft power to aid Xinjiang, and Liu Yong led the Canyou team to Kashgar to follow the pace of Shenzhen's aid to Xinjiang. Initially, the team overcame the difficulties of serious lack of start-up funds, language barriers, huge differences in culture and beliefs, as well as their own illnesses, and solved the employment of 68 ethnic minority youth with disabilities. The program has been highly praised by the governments of Xinjiang and Shenzhen. In a short period of 10 months, with the support of the municipal governments of Shenzhen and Kashgar, the Canyou model has demonstrated unprecedented vitality and impact in the ethnic minority areas where 68 ethnic minority Canyou are living in permanent training, and have already carried out business such as website design and production, film and television production, graphic advertisement design, handicrafts and e-commerce. Their families are grateful for the care of the Party and the government from the bottom of their hearts; the neighboring ethnic minority residents use the base for the disabled as a cultural square, singing and dancing every night, regardless of ethnicity, hundreds of people in harmony; the local intangible cultural elders are willing to teach the soon-to-be lost skills to the base for the disabled; the neighboring different cultural enterprises gather to donate sympathy; the neighboring people of different ethnic groups gather to be volunteers; the leaders of all levels of the government are glad to take the base as the best "nationalities and ethnic groups". Leaders at all levels of government are pleased to recognize it as the best platform for "national unity". So far, it has been awarded the honor of "National Unity Education Base" in Kashgar City, and Liu Yong, the chairman of Canyou Kashgar, has been selected as a typical model person of "Struggle to Change Destiny" in the autonomous region on behalf of Canyou in Kashgar and made a report in the whole Xinjiang. Based on the platform of exploring the way of life of people with disabilities, Kashi Canyou actively promotes the social integration, community integration, ethnic integration, cultural integration, and integration of people with disabilities and health in Kashi, Xinjiang, and contributes to the prosperity and stability of the region, and creates a bright landscape for the achievements of Shenzhen's assistance to Xinjiang in the whole country! Wang Xinxian, Secretary of the Party Group of the China Canyous' Federation, inspected and praised the "highlights of the employment of persons with disabilities, a model of national unity"; Jin Wei, Director of the Theoretical Research Office of Ethnicity and Religion of the Central Party School, reported to the central leadership of the research in the central; Zhang Chunxian, Secretary of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, met with the encouragement of the commendation. Liu Yong in the General Assembly site to receive a telephone interview with reporters said: "The award is an encouragement to me, but also let me feel the weight of the mission. As a worker in aid of Xinjiang, it is the most gratifying thing for me to see that the disabled youth of ethnic minorities under my leadership can realize their self-worth. I will stay in Kashgar, Xinjiang for a long time, so that people with disabilities can rely on high-tech industries for strong employment, and contribute to the promotion of social harmony and national unity.
