The Zheng Weining Charity Foundation is the first charity foundation approved in Shenzhen after the "Ministry-City Agreement". Its registration number is 53440300697106584D. It was founded with donations from Mr. Zheng Weining, who is suffering from severe hemophilia.

The Zheng Weining Charity Foundation will integrate charitable resources, focus on and actively explore, and under the support of standardized and professional social services, build a diversified training platform to promote the employment and self-support of people with disabilities with the help of modern technology, achieving the goal of "one person employed, one family happy, one area stable", and further extend to Kashgar and Hainan to assist ethnic minority disabled groups and promote social integration and ethnic unity.

It was honored with the "2012 China Tribute Award", and its social enterprise group won the only gold award for social enterprises in the first international event. It was also selected as one of the "Top Ten Hot Charity Events of 2012" by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, one of the "Top Ten Public Welfare Organizations of Shenzhen", a "5A-level Social Organization of Shenzhen", and an "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Shenzhen".

It ranked first in the China Foundation Transparency Index (FTI), won the 2012 One Foundation Transparency Action Award, and hosted the second China Foundation Transparency Open Day.

The Zheng Weining Charity Foundation is committed to promoting self-rescue and sustainable development for vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities. Just like long-distance fishing, social charity provides the initial docks and fishing boats for setting sail. Subsequently, people with disabilities manage their own fishing boats to go out to sea, fish and support themselves, forming a sustainable and self-sustaining model. In the "trinity" organizational structure of the Disabled Friends (refer to the above figure), that is, the foundation integrates social public welfare resources to build a platform, and controls the social attributes of the Disabled Friends social enterprise group from the legal framework to remain unchanged forever. At the same time, it supports the standardized and professional project operation of the Disabled Friends social organization group. The disabled Friends social organization group provides standardized barrier-free community services and assistance for disabled employees of social enterprises to the Disabled Friends social enterprise group, promoting changes in the living conditions of vulnerable groups, and thus forming a virtuous development of the public welfare ecosystem.
