The Seventh National Congress of China Canyous' Federation was grandly opened on the morning of September 14, 2018 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Zheng Weining, the founder of Canyou Cause, attended the congress as one of the delegation of Guangdong Canyous' Federation and more than 600 delegates from all over the country, shouldering the trust of 85 million people with disabilities.

 

    At 9:30 a.m., Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, president of the country and chairman of the Central Military Commission, as well as party and state leaders Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji, Han Zheng et al. congratulated the meeting.

  Han Zheng, on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, delivered a message titled "Creating a happier and better new life for people with disabilities in the great journey of the new era," saying that party committees and governments at all levels should attach great importance to the cause of people with disabilities, promote the all-round development of people with disabilities and the common prosperity of people with disabilities, and the whole society should join hands with people with disabilities to move towards a better future, and the federations of people with disabilities at all levels should earnestly carry out their duties to realize the Chinese dream. The Canyous Federation at all levels should effectively fulfill its duties to realize the great journey of the Chinese Dream to create a happier and better new life for people with disabilities, and the majority of people with disabilities should consciously link their personal ideals with the Chinese Dream, and strive to open up a new situation for the development of the cause of people with disabilities in the new era.

    Zhang Haidi, President of the China Canyous' Federation (CDPF), on behalf of the Sixth Bureau of the CDPF, made a working report to the General Assembly titled "Taking Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era as the Guidance to Unite and Lead Brothers and Sisters with Disabilities to Achieve a Better Well-being".

More than 5000 disabled employees of Canyou Group were encouraged, which shows that the efforts of Canyou Group for so many years have been recognized and supported by the central government, provinces, municipalities and all walks of life. Canyou Group will keep on moving forward without forgetting its original intention, and take Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era as a guideline to open up new horizons in the cause of people with disabilities in the new era, unite and lead brothers and sisters of people with disabilities to create a better life, and merge into the flood current of the Chinese dream.
