On the morning of June 18th, Kashgar Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held the 9th National Unity and Progress Model Collective and Model Individual Commendation and Naming of National Unity and Progress Model Units General Assembly, which commended a total of 100 model collectives, 212 model individuals, and named 680 National Unity and Progress Model Units, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kashgar Canyouhip Group, Mr. Liu Yong, was awarded the National Unity and Progress Model Individual Commendation.

The conference is a conference to show the era of the people of all ethnic groups in Kashgar, carry forward the great spirit of patriotism of all ethnic groups, and highlight the great power of unity and progress of all ethnic groups. The conference is of great significance to promote the deepening development of the activities of creating national unity and progress, to consolidate and develop the socialist ethnic relations in the region of equality, unity, mutual assistance and harmony, and to safeguard the stability of the society.
