At 11:00am on July 12th, the first China Public Welfare and Charity Exchange and Exhibition was held in Salon 2, Hall 6, with the theme of "Discussion on Social Enterprises in China", initiated by Shenzhen Zheng Weining Charity Foundation.
Participants in the discussion included Mr. He Zheng from Shenzhen Avita, Ms. Dai Mei from IoT Intelligent Technology Application Association, Mr. Jiang Chen from Huicheng Yang Investment and Development Company Limited, and Mr. Yang Jiantan, a representative of the Inheritance Society of China Tourism. The participants took turns to speak and had an in-depth discussion on the development of social enterprises and public welfare and philanthropy in China. In the closing moments, Mr. Zheng Weining said that when the society helps the disadvantaged groups, it often uses traditional methods and concepts, and the real needs of the disadvantaged people are often ignored. This traditional approach from the perspective of the person doing the charity, although it may touch the charity person himself, but "that is compassion, not charity", said Mr. Zheng Weining.
